Art learning story.
Cubism Art For the past few weeks Ngati Aroha (Which is us) & Ngati Awhina has been concentrating on Cubism art. We have been researching and we discovered that the creator of cubism art is a Spanish Painter named Pablo Picasso. Pablo and another artist named George Braque worked together to paint this painting of art: Aroha & Awhina went on a trip to the Pataka Exhibition on the 28th of February to learn more about Cubism Art to be able to use some ideas and advice when we’re creating our own Cubism Art. Pataka Trip At the pataka exhibition we had to take a risk of drawing our own piece of art. We all had 4 pieces of paper on top of 1 carbon paper that was on top of another sheet of paper so it would transfer onto that one. Each table had objects in the middle, we also learnt that it was called a Still Life, we drew the objects on our paper.
